Two Nights. Global Impact.
Seoul Concert
25 JUNE 1999

Seoul

The first concert took place at Seoul Olympic Stadium in South Korea. It opened the two-concert humanitarian project and introduced the message of Michael Jackson & Friends to a global audience.

Munich

The second concert took place at the Olympiastadion in Munich, Germany. It continued the mission in Europe and became especially remembered for Michael Jackson’s performance of “Earth Song.”

THE HUMANITARIAN PURPOSE

A Call For
Humanity.

The concerts were created to support humanitarian causes connected to children, peace, and people affected by crisis. For Michael Jackson, the project belonged to a wider humanitarian tradition that included We Are the World, Heal the World, Earth Song, and What More Can I Give.
